In summer, the "Cyprus Night" festival is organized, a lively show with traditional dances, food and music, in the village square, where we also meet cafes and taverns.
There is also an amphitheater with a capacity of 800 seats, located on the outskirts of the town, which offers a panoramic view over Akrotiri and Limassol. In the south we find Pissouri Bay with its beach that stretches from Cape Aspro to the rocky area of
Mavrorotsos, where a junction between mountain and sea is created. Around you will be able to admire the vestiges of the history of Cyprus, if you go for walks.
Due to the weather conditions in the past the village was also a very important wine and fruit center, but at present agriculture is no longer of interest to the locals, tourism now being a main source of income, especially during the summer. Tourists can enjoy
both the beach and water sports.
An access road has recently been set up for walks along the low cliffs of Kouklia to the rock of Aphrodite, from where you can admire a magnificent landscape.
The Barefoot Designs Art Gallery where you can admire a number of works by local artists, including: paintings, photographs, arts and crafts, as well as other souvenirs from this beautiful island.
O'Vrakas Gift Store right next to Pissouri Square, the store is full of handmade gifts for everyone's taste.
The Alexandros Riding Center can either learn to ride or just for a simple visit to admire animals that are very well fed and loved.
