CYPRUS VILLAGES was established in 1987 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni, Kalavasos and Psematismenos were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.  

CYPRUS VILLAGES offers you a choice of 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with self-catering facilities in a well-equipped kitchenette, central heating/air-conditioning and access to shared pool. You'll be surrounded by the thick walls, small windows and stone or wooden staircases typical of our island’s traditional architecture. Relax in the sun with a drink and a book on your veranda, on the patio or in the garden. Feel like getting your feet wet? Every village offers a swimming pool with sun beds within easy reach. And if the beach is more your thing, the villages are situated only 7km away from the sandy shores.

DIRECTIONS TO TOCHNI VILLAGE RECEPTION  FROM

LARNAKA AIRPORT

As you leave the airport follow the signs to Lemesos.                                                                                  Half way towards Lemesos the high way A5 will turn into highway A1.

Drive on the high way A1.  Leave the highway on exit 14, sign posted “Chirokitia-Tochni”. Turn right at the junction, follow the road under the bridge until the next junction at which you turn right again. After passing the petrol station turn right direction Choirokitia-Layia and then immediately left where there is a small church and a sign to Tochni Village. Keep driving straight on until you see the sign for Tochni Tavern, turn right here and then first left and left again following the steep hill upwards towards the car park of Tochni Tavern.

At the end of the car parking area near the fence there is a stair case leading to the tavern/pool area where you will see the Cyprus Villages reception sign. Walking down the stairs you will find our Tochni Tavern and CYPRUS VILLAGES reception. Here you will be met by our representative who will welcome and escort you to your accommodation at either Tochni , Kalavasos or Psematismenos (depending on your booking terms). After office hours our reception is open according to your arrival flight time therefore it is important that you provide this information with your reservation.

Approximate driving time is 30 minutes.

DIRECTIONS TO TOCHNI VILLAGE

RECEPTION FROM PAPHOS AIRPORT

Follow the signs to Lemesos. On the main highway after by-passing Lemesos stay on the Limassol-Nicosia highway, come off at junction 15 which is the Kalavasos-Tochni-Zygi-Maroni turn off. Drive straight until the junction and turn left following signs for Tochni.

Drive into the village Tochni until the end of the main village road which is by the church on your left and a grocery store on your right. Turn right and follow the signs to TOCHNI TAVERN.  

Keep driving straight on until you see the sign for Tochni Tavern, turn left and first left again and drive up the hill which leads to the car park.

At the parking area and near the fence there is a stair case leading to the tavern/pool area where you will see the Cyprus Villages reception sign. Walking down the stairs you will find our Tochni Tavern and CYPRUS VILLAGES reception. Here you will be met by our receptionist and after you check in you will be escorted to your apartment. After office hours our reception is open according to your arrival flight time therefore it is important that you provide this information with your reservation.
